Red Deer is the place to be for the District 42 - 2008, Toastmasters Fall Convention. We have organized a schedule that offers something for everyone. Featuring; enlightening workshops and educational sessions, award winning presenters, and some of the best speakers from District 42 to educate and entertain you. At the same time, you get the opportunity to network with your fellow Toastmasters from Alberta and Saskatchewan.

You won’t want to miss our keynote speaker Randy Wolsey

City of Edmonton Fire chief and Canada's 2007 Fire Chief of the year.

Starting out as a firefighter, he worked his way to Lieutenant, Captain, Deputy Chief of Operations, and Municipal Emergency Planning Co-ordinator before becoming Fire Chief.

Over the course of the last six years with Edmonton Fire Rescue Services, Chief Wolsey has been an advocate of ensuring a high level of service and safety to the community while creating a positive public image for firefighters.
